Jim Inglese 8-Stack Systems

The world’s only supplier of 8-Stack carburetion and 8-Stack Fuel Injection from one company!

Your single source for Weber carburetion and 8-stack fuel injection for Cobras, Daytona Coupes, GT40s, and ALL GM high-performance V8’s.

If you’re searching for the right place to buy a high-performance 8-stack induction system, this is the red “X” on your treasure map. We’re a custom induction shop that specializes exclusively in building custom 8-stack fuel injection systems and Weber 8-stack carburetion for street cars and show cars.

We are America’s oldest 8-stack induction system builder in business today, specializing in both Weber carburetion systems and electronic fuel injection. If it has 8 stacks, we build it.

You can take advantage of our experience and knowledge by reading through this website. We invite you to call with your list of questions to help you make a well-informed decision.

We ship worldwide, and we’re the only company in the world where you can get a Weber carburetion system or an 8-stack EFI from the same place. We offer more choices than any other source, and when you call here, you can talk to the company’s owner, Jim Inglese or his son Vincent (“Vinny”) instead of a salesperson. So, when a prospective customer says to us, “I can get the same thing from another place much cheaper,” our response is, “No, you can’t.”

We will strive to provide you with the best customer experience possible. We believe that what matters isn’t the number of customers we serve, it’s the number of customers we can please. Our goal is to delight every customer with outstanding individual customer service.

About our company

We don’t just assemble induction units, we approach what we do here as art. Our goal is to be the leader in the industry and that means giving every customer more than what they expect. We are driven by a desire for excellence and we strive for a product that shows our commitment to attention to detail.

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” ECCL 9:10

Every 8-stack system is built to order and matched to the engine and vehicle it’s intended for. When you place your order, we’ll create the build sheet that the shop will use as the instructions for your induction unit. We will then supply you with a detailed estimate for your approval. This two-step process ensures that we have all the details correct.

We offer more V8 applications and related accessories than any other Weber or EFI 8-stack shop in the world, so if you’re planning on putting an 8-stack system on a V8, this is the only website where you’ll find the information you’re going to see here.

If you email us with your questions, you’ll usually hear back from Jim the same day. We check emails several times a day and we answer everybody.

Other companies offer similar products, and some are temptingly cheaper, but as with any product, you always get what you pay for. As they say, there’s no “free lunch”.

If you’re buying Webers, our 13-page Weber instruction manual takes you right through the entire setup process, from gas pedal adjustment to fuel pressure to ignition timing to synchronizing the four carburetors. We leave no room for error. For our EFI customers, we supply our own 40+ page instruction manual. No other EFI company supplies anything like this manual, and some companies supply no instructions at all.

Our #1 goal is for your installation to be a 100% success. To that end, we supply EVERYTHING you will need, which may also include an ignition system if you don’t have one for EFI. Our ordering process covers everything, so we can determine exactly what you’ll need, and we’ll provide it all if you wish. You won’t have to worry about what else you need.

Our tuning service is $125 per hour.

Genuine Weber Sales and Service

We’ve been a Weber carburetion sales & service center since 1979, and we sell and service only GENUINE WEBER carburetors.  Weber carburetors were originally manufactured in Bologna, Italy, and in 1992, production was moved to Madrid, Spain where they continue to be made today.  There are only two international distributors of Weber carburetors…Webcon in the UK and WorldPac (Redline/Weber) here in the U.S.A.

We service carburetors for vintage Cobras, Ferraris, Maserati’s, and other marques, ranging from simple carburetor rebuilding to museum-quality restorations of complete induction assemblies to include the intake manifold and linkage.

Counterfeit Chinese Webers

Chinese copies of Weber carburetors are made by at least three companies.  These cheap copies are sold at half the price of real Weber carburetors but they’re labeled and sold as Weber carburetors, which they’re NOT.  And, they are what you would expect from anything made in China…bad quality. Sloppy drilling, inconsistent machining, and inaccurately calibrated metering parts show up during idle or cruise, where engines spend almost all their time.  Those Chinese copies look identical to genuine Webers, but they’re low-quality, just like everything made in China.  As carburetors go, they’re junk.

A basic law of business says, You can’t get the highest quality for the lowest price — you get what you pay for”.   That’s very true.

We don’t service or repair any Chinese-made Weber copies   All genuine Weber carburetors are manufactured in Italy or Spain and say MADE IN SPAIN  or BOLOGNA ITALY.  There’s a simple way to identify fake Weber carburetors.  All Chinese copies say MADE IN ______  with the country of origin left blank.  No country of origin = it’s a Chinese copy.

Chinese Counterfeit EFI’s

You’ve probably already seen these on the internet. They sell for about $2400 and come unassembled and incomplete….but they look great in the photos and that price is bait to reel in unsuspecting customers who don’t know any better. Be careful. The Chinese EFI’s come with no injectors, no sensors, and no ECU…you’ll need to figure all that out yourself. In the end, YOU WILL PAY. And not just for more parts. Anyone who actually manages to get one running soon finds out they run very badly and there’s no one there to answer questions or provide tech service. That’s because the dealers that sell those Chinese EFI’s don’t know anything about fuel injection…they’re just order-takers!

If you know the name of the Chinese EFI company I’m talking about, click on this link and put their name into the search box: https://www.pissedconsumer.com/ As of August 2024, 84 customer reviews had earned them an amazing 83% NEGATIVE RATING and they had 1.8 Stars out of 5. Be sure to read all the reviews if you are even considering one of those Chinese EFI’s.

Here’s one more simple basic law of business: “If it looks too good to be true, it is.” You will pay the higher price later.

Why are there two Inglese companies?

There’s a lot of confusion about INGLESE INDUCTION SYSTEMS vs. JIM INGLESE 8-STACK SYSTEMS. They’re actually two separate companies that are in no way connected.

INGLESE INDUCTION SYSTEMS was my original company, founded in 1980.  I sold that company IN 1988 and then came back into it later under my own name as JIM INGLESE EIGHT STACK SYSTEMS.  The original brand, INGLESE INDUCTION SYSTEMS, was purchased by Comp Cams in Tennessee, and the two companies, while sharing the last name, were never affiliated.  Today, that company (INGLESE INDUCTION SYSTEMS) is thankfully no longer in business. Now it’s back to just our company operating as JIM INGLESE 8-STACK SYSTEMS, and there is much less confusion.

Our assemblies show the Jim Inglese signature on the label as shown below. If this label isn’t on the front carburetor or throttle body, it wasn’t built here (unless it has our original 1980s “Branford, CT” label).  The signature label is your guarantee that it was built here and that we’ve invested our experience and reputation into that assembly.

We invite you to come in and have a look around these pages. If you’re looking for useful information, you’re really going to enjoy this website.  If you’d like to talk about your project, please call or email us.  Please don’t text us.  We don’t see or answer any texts.  Thank you.

“Hi Jim The manifold and bits have arrived. It is a thing of beauty. You have done a great job for which I am very grateful.

Thanks once again.”
